WHAT WE DO
Positive Legacy integrates music and service to benefit people and the planet. We are grantmakers who coordinate environmental and humanitarian service projects fueled by the power of music. We transcend cultural boundaries by attending to the needs and aspirations of the communities where music happens. We create sustainable support through action from musicians and fans.
WHO WE ARE
A collective group of nonprofit and event industry professionals utilizing our shared interest in music to improve humanitarian and environmental conditions.
HOW WE WORK
i. We conduct an assessment to identify an environmental or humanitarian need or urgency.
ii. We team up with artists and events to create awareness and encourage action for the issue.
iii. We raise funds through auctions, activities, individual and corporate donations, and ticket surcharges.
iv. We provide grant funding to organizations working to create community driven, sustainable solutions to ensure success.
Positive Legacy is seeking artists who align with our vision and mission of uniting music and service to benefit people and the planet. If you want to join the movement and create positive change, contact us today at: info@positivelegacy.org.

HOW WE STARTED
Positive Legacy became a 501(c)(3) in 2010, but our mission and work began in 2004 as the greening program on board the maiden voyage of Jam Cruise, an iconic music festival onboard a cruise ship. Through years of making impactful and more sustainable changes to the cruise industry practices, the concept of Positive Legacy was born: to integrate music and service to benefit people and the environment.
TODAY
Today the nonprofit is run and supported by a wide variety of music industry and nonprofit professional experts. We have over 30 artist partnerships serving in communities across the US, Caribbean and Central America.
