Upcycled Craftivity
Day 2 | 12-1:30PM
Join Positive Legacy at High Tide Getaway for a fun, hands-on Craftivity where we’ll be turning old bandanas into colorful keychains and bag charms! Bring your own well-loved (or extra!) bandanas and give them a new life as a handmade keepsake from the festival. We’ll provide the tools and guidance—you bring the fabric and creativity. It’s a great way to relax, connect, and create something meaningful to take home. No experience needed—just swing by, craft in the sunshine, and be part of the Positive Legacy vibe!

Our local friends have spoken - and their most requested item is backpacks! Whether it's for a kindergartener or a high school senior, a sturdy backpack can make all the difference. If you're able, please consider bringing a backpack suitable for any age.
Got a little extra room? School supplies are also deeply appreciated! Every pen, pencil, and notebook helps set a student up for success.

Days of Service - SOLD OUT
Day 3 | 9am-2pm
Join Positive Legacy on December 8th, Day 3 of Strings & Sol, for a Day of Service and Community Connection at the Casa de la Cultura in Puerto Morelos! Together, we’ll roll up our sleeves for a fulfilling day of community service, cultural connection, and celebration. You’ll help refresh and repair a vital community center, support reef restoration efforts with Healthy Reefs, and even build crab enclosures that protect coral ecosystems. After the work is done, enjoy live music by Galactica Deep Roots and savor authentic Mexican cuisine. It’s a meaningful way to give back, make memories, and be part of something bigger—don’t miss it!

CLOSER TO THE SUN

Day of Service
Day 3 | 9am-2pm
Join Positive Legacy and Closer to the Sun guests for a meaningful Day of Service! Spend the day connecting with the local community through service projects, cultural experiences, music, and local cuisine.
This year we’ll visit José Antonio Tzuc Esparza Jr. High School in Puerto Aventuras, just 15 minutes from the resort. The school serves 600 students and is excited for our help in improving their learning environment. This is Positive Legacy’s first year supporting the school with development grants and volunteer efforts, made possible with the help of the RCD Foundation.
On Monday, January 12, about 50 guests will join us to refresh the school’s buildings and classrooms with new paint, build a recycled-plastic bench, and deliver the donated backpacks and school supplies from Closer fans. After the work is done, enjoy live music from Galactica Deep Roots, plus an authentic Mexican lunch

Join us for a meaningful day of hands-on service, local culture, live music, and great food.
We’ll visit Benjamin Bloom Elementary School in Puerto Aventuras, serving 397 students just 15 minutes from the resort. With support from Positive Legacy and the Hard Rock Foundation, we’ll help brighten the campus through painting and small improvements.
About 50 Panic en la Playa guests will join us to refresh classrooms and outdoor spaces. After the work, enjoy live music from local band Galactica Deep Roots along with an authentic Mexican lunch and drinks.
