Positive Legacy, in partnership with Backline and Kilter, is proud to launch their May Wellness Challenge: May the Wellness Be With You.
In an attempt to fill the void of enjoying shows with the music community, Positive Legacy wants to connect on a virtual Wellness Challenge where participants will earn points as they stay physically and mentally healthy while fundraising for an important cause that needs attention: mental health. Positive Legacy has partnered with their friends at Backline to honor Mental Health Awareness Month and bring this important subject to light. Backline connects music industry professionals and their families with a trusted network of mental health and wellness providers; however, Positive Legacy recognizes that the mental health crisis reaches far beyond just the music industry, and so they aim to normalize conversation and increase awareness for this issue.
Wellness Challenge participants will track their wellness activities every day during the month of May to compete on an interactive leaderboard for awesome prizes and fundraise to support this important cause. Positive Legacy and Backline are calling on friends, family, colleagues, acquaintances and everyone else to join them by coming together during this difficult pandemic, where remaining active and caring for your mental and physical health is as important as ever. Every registration adds to the total fundraising goal and ticks up the fundraising thermometer; plus participants can request support from their loved ones by using Kilter’s pledging function to ask people to donate based on their achievements. 100% of contributions will benefit Positive Legacy and Backline.
