#BeBetter Challenge :: Start the Year Off on a Good Note!

Updated: Jan 12, 2021

2020 was one for the books! This past year has been challenging and caused uncertainties for almost everyone. Positive Legacy saw an increase in requests for support and was hard at work providing funding to neighbors and the communities in greatest need. In the past 12 months we were able to provide $121,336 in grant funding, but now that it is supposed to be event season, we are really missing our Days of Service and giving back to the communities we visit for our love of music.

Since we can not be together, we want to encourage and challenge YOU to get creative and to share with us how you can #BeBetter and #MakeChange in your own homes and communities, however you see fit. Imagine if we all were just a tiny bit better in our efforts to care for the earth and each other?

During the month of January we will be challenging our network to participate and share their #BeBetter pledges and actions on social media. Social media fans will then vote to decide THREE lucky #ChangeMakers to receive a Positive Legacy swag package along with a $250 donation to a local non-profit of their choice (made by PL in their honor). Additionally, one lucky #ChangeMaker will be crowned our #BeBetter #ChallengeChampion for 2021 and will brandish the esteemed title reaping the corresponding rewards throughout the whole year!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED...

  • Make a Commitment to #BeBetter in some way

  • Snap a photo or shoot a 45-60 second video of your commitment or of your pledge in action

  • Post to IG or Facebook - tag Positive Legacy and use hashtags #BeBetter and #ChangeMaker

  • Share and encourage your friends to vote for you once voting begins

  • Challenge is open from 01/04/21- 1/31/21

  • Be creative

  • If your social media accounts are set to PRIVATE, please be sure to DM a screenshot of your submission!

Help make our planet a better place for all of us.

Together we can BE the change to leave a positive legacy for the environment.
