Jazz Fest

 

In 2018, Positive Legacy attended Jazz Fest and hosted a benefit show, a day of service and a Free Funk Fest raising $10,000 to benefit Grace at the Greenlight! Grace at the Greenlight is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to offer New Orleans’ homeless persons choices and to provide for their basic needs – water, food and community – in a loving manger that embraces the human spirit. Since 2014, they have served over 80,000 meals, passed out hundreds of thousands of bottles of water, and sent almost 1,400 people home.  

 

Funds raised for Grace at the Green Light have:

• Provided over 2,000 nutritious meals to the homeless

• Provide 12 bus tickets to homeless individuals to return home

• Reunited eleven homeless individuals with a loved one

 

We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to all of our friends, supporters and volunteers who helped to make the event a great success. We also want to thank Eddie Roberts of The New Mastersounds, Soul Project NOLA, Sir Speedy Printing, Damon Bowie and Louder Than Digital for helping us make this event a reality!
