Dead & Company
Positive Legacy was first invited to join Participation Row at Dead & Co during the Summer 2017 tour. Alongside other environmental and social cause organizations, Positive Legacy is able to reach out to attending fans and inspire change in the world while highlighting the important work that we do.
Positive Legacy planned Community Action Days in communities across the country to give Dead & Company fans an opportunity to leave their own Positive Legacy while on tour.
Positive Legacy has hosted Community Action Days in:
-
New York City at Flushing Bay Promenade to clean up the park in partnership with Freaks Action Network (2019)
-
Atlanta at the ATL Community Food Bank to sort and distribute food (2019)
-
Boulder at Conscious Alliance to assemble bags of nutritious dried soup in partnership with Boulder Food Bank, Community Food Share and Rex Foundation (2017-2019)
-
Bay Area at Project WeHOPE homeless shelter to improve the facility (2017)
-
Boston at Pine Street Inn to build, plant and maintain a shared garden space for the women resident's of the shelter to enjoy friendship, fresh air and fresh food. (2017)
Thank you to all who donated their time to help us make a difference in the lives of others at our Community Action Days, and to the hundreds who signed pledges to give back within their own communities!
