2023 RECAP

 

Thank you to all the Only the Wild Ones guests and artists who supported Positive Legacy’s mission to integrate music and service while we were in Mexico. You certainly know how to party with a purpose! 

 

Day of Service & Cultural Connection

This year we took 75 music fans and artists to the Escuela Secundaria Técnica No.7 “Primero de Junio” in Puerto Morelos for a day of service, education, snorkeling and celebrating. This beautiful beachside school hosts a reef rescue program which empowers students with hands-on experience in coral reef restoration and sustainable ecotourism skills. So much gratitude goes to our hard working Day of Service volunteers who helped clean up the school grounds and beach, and to our local partners United Giving for Puerto Morelos, UNAM and the National Marine Park for making this day so special.

Charity Auction

This year's auction raised over $30,000 to support Positive Legacy’s mission. A huge shout out to all the artists and fans who donated items, as well as to Dave Vann for donating his beautiful photography, and most especially to all the event guests who supported us with their bids. 

 

The support from the artists was off the hook! From the bottom of our hearts we thank Dispatch, Guster, G Love, Donavon Frankenreiter, Trevor Hall, Ripe, Melt and Emelise for all their love and support.

 

And to all the event patrons who brought school & medical supplies, participated in our activities, tipped the celebrity bartenders Ryan, Chad and Brad, and made donations to Positive Legacy…we couldn’t do it without you!

2022 RECAP

Thank you DISPATCH! 

What an amazing first time festival in Mexico! From the bands, to the fans and the enthusiastic engagements with our Positive Legacy programs, we couldn’t be happier to be a part of the first time out with this unique experience! 

 

Our Day of Service was a tremendous success at the local high school. DISPATCH and members of OAR and Guster along with festival guests joined us for a day of giving back in the local community. 

 

We also had an amazing pool side bingo game that set new records for money raised, over $2500!!

 

Auction day was thrilling as usual with full engagement from this new crowd plus an unbelievable opening set by Lailani Wolfgramm. Thanks to Only The Wild Ones fans we raised more than $20,000 to support student success. It was truly a festival to remember, and we look forward to doing it again next year!
